The Sword of Kings is a ceremonial sword, signifying the power and authority of the King of the Danes. Taken by Ragnar from King Horik, after a failed plot to alienate and ultimatley assasinate Ragnar fails and ends in Horik's death.
The sword superficially changes hands a few times until ultimately landing in the possession of King Björn Ironside, Ragnar's eldest son.
